Any of the three Thai entrants this year. The Thais have medaled every year since Atlanta and are no strangers to gold medals. Usually exciting fighters who fight with thier hearts on their sleeves.:yep Kaeo Pongprayoon @ Light Flyweight Chatchai Butdee @ Flyweight Sailom Adi @ Lightweight China's Zou Shiming meeting Kaeo Pongprayoon in the final could be fun! :hey
Well, I've just seen the last guy that beat Gary Russell Jr., back in 2007, Sergey Vodopyanov, and he did impressed me. I thought the guy was a very good counter puncher and a nice tactician. In fact the only thing I did not like in his style was that he do not tuck his chin enough and would get caught sooner or later. The commentators were saying that his style wouldn't fit if he would turn professional. Personally, I did not agree. Anyone saw him?
Quite a few quality MW bouts coming up in less than an hour. Atoev, Hakobyan, Suzhanov and the American Gushy or whatever his name is are all fighting.
I liked the Mexican bantam who just fought today. Oscar Fierro I believe. Very exciting fight for an Olympic fight.
Gushy, with no virtually international experience, just beat the crap out the highly ranked Armenian favorite and seasoned veteran.
Geyeah!!! Without headgear this fight would have been over earlier! They need to go old school. #WARGausha
Beat the crap? It was a close fight and the end was a absolute farce. 1st kd with about 5 sec left in the last round was good but Hakobyan injured his ankle in the process and as the ref finished the 8 count he was trying to tell the ref something while stretching his ankle and the yank blasted him in the face causing a kd and the ref stops it after the round has already ended on a bogus kd. lol Seriously what was that?
