prob is not as good at conditioning the legs over jogging.. great cardio workout to build lung capacity and very good substitute if you have injuries as it provides prob the best workout i can think of without wear and tear on the body

I don't believe in such a thing as wear and tear on the body when it comes to standard training. It's basically impossible to overtrain if you eat and sleep correctly. Most people don't have near the dedication to train hard enough or long enough to actually overtrain.

jogging tears up the cartilage in many joints. especially the knees.

Wladimir Klitschko always does a lot of swimming during his training camps.

I read that Rahman swam quite a bit for his training regimen.

Let's not forget Rocky's wonderful swimming in preparation for his Clubber Lang rematch

swimming is much better then running and can prolong a career slamming your joints can not be good in the long run

Malik Scott must have spent plenty of time in the pool. How else would perfect such an obvious dive?

The modern day superheweights like the Klitschko's do due to the stress on their joints. I would imagine Fury does a bit of swimming and will increase this as he ages.

Towards the end of his career, Sergio Martinez had given up on jogging and mainly swam or cycled.
