if so if u trained a kelly pavlik since he STARTED boxing and he turned out to win the world title and then lose to a ATG at a higher weight would u think u did a good job....I have trained fighters for ten years...i know how to train fighters and if i had my own gym, strength COACH ETC. it would be even easier....i consider myself a good technician and have trained some decent amateurs and a good pro at age 18 who stopped fighting at 2-0...joey gamache's nephew (joey is a phenominal trainer) so why the hate for loew...trainers only please...i know fans are fans and really don't know the whole story of loyalty and things of that sort....they just see guys like roach who take guys like pac who have already been taught well and refine them (roach is great by all means) but it is much easier that way
I am not a trainer, but you should'nt listen to all the **** people say. Jack Leow was pathetic in the Hopkins fight, but the guy still created Pavlik from nothing and this is really something. Most of the popular trainers today just take all ready polisehd fighters to make little or no modifications. The real force here is to take someone from nothing and teach him everything.
this is true...believe me he didn't give ood advice IMo in that fight but what could he say...it was not his weight class...i think he was def sick and he was fighting a GREAT fighter who posed too many problems....the good trainers take guys from the start like hearns with manny and make them fighters from nothing then they get more fighters because of that....Loew is obviously doing something right as he just had another guy in his stable win a big fight if i am correct....I just think he gets a bum rap when he took KP form not knowing a boxing stance to destroying everything in his path until the bhop fight...that is NOT easy
