Yeah look forward to seeing the lad fight. Haven't got around to watching his early bouts.

Nice interview Slap, good job :good

Will his fight be televised? I assume not. Hopefully Sky show highlights, seeing as how the Khan/McCloskey fight won't last very long :hey :deal

Why are you not going to see your idol in the flesh? Is there a restraining order that you have failed to tell us about?:think

Talented boxer is Jamie, if he had power he would almost be the full package. hopefully that will come as he matures and gets more experience though.

I wish I could, but I've got commitments with Family. I've got Family flying in that week, so I won't be able to go away for the weekend, and to top it off, this is probably Amir's last fight in the UK this year, which makes it worse :patsch

I really wanted to see Fury fight as well.

The recent pullouts from Joe Gallagher's Gym have ruined the card, anyway.

I think this will be Amirs last fight in the UK for quite a while actually.

Dean Byrne. He trains at Arnies Gym in Manchester. He is in talks with a couple of promotes and has a couple of offers but 'allegedly' prefers one over the other if they can come to a mutually acceptable agreement.

nah he wasnt there at the time, had joined the wildcard but not there then. It was another guy who had gone out there looking to turn pro. Jamie hadnt been signed up either at that point and they where both trying to turn pro. think it was maybe a cousin/relative or longtime friend of his.
