Any chance Fury's retirement is fully based on who wins in Usyk-AJ II?

I think there's a part of Fury that thinks fighting Usyk wouldn't be worth the risk to his legacy as he could indeed prove difficult to beat. I don't think Fury has any fear of not beating AJ and knows the payday would be enormous to take that fight.

So is it likely that Usyk wins Fury stays retired, AJ wins Fury goes "I'm back!"?

Or he was forced into a 3rd Wilder bout which he didn't care for, child literally died and he had a 3 week camp with bad elbow injuries and had to go life or death in that bout so decided time was up.

Only the surgery he had afterwards saved his career with an on paper easy peasy bout with Dillian Whyte who is akin to Chisora to Fury.

He wouldn't have continued if that surgery didn't go well

He's burn't the candles at both ends. Usyk is the same he wants to retire but the landscape is still fruitful for him.

If we're honest Fury has more to lose losing to Usyk because that's a 12 round decision loss to a skilful little man. Usyk losing to Fury doesn't really affect him, that was always a hurdle too far people will say, hell he could still lose to AJ, I'd estimate 17% chance.

We'll assume Usyk beats AJ again, are the Saudi's putting up $150-200m for Fury Usyk?

Fury's dad and brother who have seen him box since day 1 said it was time to retire after he beat Wilder for the 3rd time. They could see he was faded and they still think he should retire post Whyte. Fury is on the decline now, he isn't getting better, he can't! same applies to Usyk.

I think we all agree Fury sees AJ as much as a threat as Whyte. Zero.

Mark my words, IF Wilder continues to box motivated as he was before he will do all the leg work for Fury.

Fury has publicly, opening, and unequivocally said that he does not think that there is any money in Usyk, and that he doesn't think the money will be there for AJ now, since he lost twice. If they bring him truckloads for either, he will fight either.

It depends on what happens a d what he does after.
I do honestly feel he is ducking Usyk.

He knows how much he struggled with Cunningham, Usyk is way better. Fury knows it and doesnt want it.
He never said anything that made me believe he wanted to fight Usyk.
He woukd rather fight Wilder again, Chisora or an mma fighter.
It shows at heart he doesnt believe in himself as much as he says.

If AJ wins the belts back (big if) the money will absolutely be there either a fight in the UK that would absolutely dwarf the Fury-Whyte one and the AJ-Klitschko fight or the Gulf sheiks will throw more money than gd at them trough Hearns.

I agree, which is why I said that if they bring the money, the fight will be there.

I don't think Joshua is going to win, and if he does, I think it should be a two out of three. Ruiz embarrassed himself, and there was no need for a rubber match. If am na like Usyk lost, especially considering everything he has been dealing with regarding the war and his family, he would deserve the rubber.

Look if anyone really believes he retired then they should be in their wise man outfits on horseback going from trailer park to carnival looking for the new Gypsy King!

Imagine what this one must be like!

No we can't agree... and that's why the fight never happened, even when Joshua had his belts...

I think it could be connected to the sudden collapse of MTK global who organised Fury`s comback after years of depression.

It's called Wilder won a legal arbitration. AJ is a bum dosser. Has nothing to make Fury think. Totally useless. No stamina. No feet. No chin. No heart. No balls. No head movement. No nothing. A big stiff idiot.

He's always been very dismissive when the subject of stepping back up to CW Level again to fight Usyk comes up

    AJ has never dismissed it

As a real fighting man/proud gypsy warrior and the CEO of both GKP aka Gypsy King Promotions and The Holy Church of Usyk I simply cannot hold my tongue, even if's to speak ill of my breed, if he walks away one fight away from becoming undisputed, especially if it's against another unbeaten warrior like Usyk who is the current P4P#2 and arguably #1

Simply, if Usyk beats AJ and Fury avoids unification, then his legacy is tarnished.

No it's not called Wilder... Joshua had belts way before his fight with Wladimir.

And after his fight with Wladimir, nothing happened too...

And AJ is way more athletic than Fury + a bigger puncher, that's why he did so well with his short amateur career + his late start in boxing.
