Any chance in Hades that JC/Bhop will not live up to the hype?

Lots of fireworks on the forum. What about the ring come fight night?

Damned. Second time I have done a poll and both times the text shows up ahead of the poll.

if its a borednard Hopkins fight, you can certainly bet there will be no fireworks. That would make fora great prop bet at the sportsbook.

Will the fight be boring +200/-200

If it's a exciting fight calzaghe wins, if its boring, hopkins wins. i expect a very boring (or tactical) fight.

It will be exciting if you can appreciate tactical boxing. I seem to have a terminal illness that actually allows me to.

As far as ESB cred, not sure I have much to begin with, but my prediction is either gonna make out to be a genious or a ****** with no grey area in between. I see BHops takin Joe out in the 9th.

I think the biggest myth here is tactical boxing has to be boring...I think both fighters will at least attempt to put on a show even if it's tactical.

I think both fighters will at least ATTEMPT to leave it all out there. Both are at the ends of their respective legacy and probably want to go out win or lose with a bang of sorts.

    What HYPE????

Ahhhh yesss . . . too much talk and analysis in this forum. :D

Here's mine. It's gonna be close; Boring and a controversial decission. Controversial in the sense that both sides and their followers (NUT HUGGERS) won't accept the judges' scoring.

    :yep

That is what I have wondered about. Neither guy seems to have knockout power anymore so if it goes to the judges, will anyone be satisfied? Weeks of mayhem and predictions, but will anyone feel satisfied when it is done? Look at the folks that were disappointed with Taylor/Pavlik 2. To this day people rate Pavlik lower for not getting a second knockout and give Taylor NO credit for improving.

After the hype, what satisfies this crowd? ;)

I saw a bunch of people giving Taylor credit for a better effort, myself included. The trouble for Taylor is that improved or not, he's a guy who relies on physicality, and he's got to move up soon. It's hard to see 168 being kind to him.

I gotta respect you for sticking your neck out there. If you're right, I'll be the first one on here calling you a genious. If you're wrong, well sorry, tough break...******!

For the record, I'm pulling for BHop.

despite the fact that Hopkins will do everything in his power to make it a boring fight, I will be watching and chances are i'll enjoy it.
