So Mosley has been training for a January 30 showdown; now with that scrapped will train for a showdown with Floyd. Any chance that all this training prior to the fight will cause Mosley to peak early and come in over trained?

Not so much overtraining but inactivity. i mean Margarito is gonna end up fighting first and he was suspended.

I'm not giving excuses - I just hope for a helluva fight. Regardless of who wins, big fights will be made as a result of this fight.

He's got a very good trainer in Richardson to take care of him and prevent that from happening.
I thought about this too, but Mosley has been around a long time to make this mistake.

He's gonmna stop training hard for a while or maybe evencompoletely to recharge the batteries.

    He''ll be fine.

    The inactivity worries me more.

I think we can get Pac vs the winner (given he beats Clottey); Berto vs the winner; or even Williams vs the winner.

    All would be exciting fights.

Good point - he'll probably resume training in early March.

Will he? NO! Hell I thought the excuse "he is too old" would be enough. Shane stays in shape all year. How in the world would he over-train?
