Any chance of Povetkin vs Ortiz?

This. I can't see any promoter putting up good money for Ortiz and Povetkin to fight. They can only earn good money fighting guys like Wilder and Joshua, and maybe Bellew if he beats Usyk, but I doubt Bellew would fight either Ortiz or Povetkin.

 

I'd hate to see this. Old guns like these should not be taking it out on each other when they are highly capable of beating many of the younger ones in the division.

 

Hate is a strong word Max Thunder. We don't use that word here but I agree with you that they should be able to do better than that.

 

First we should get Ortiz vs Price on the next big card. Hearn is moving pieces in place to make it happen.

Then, if Ortiz is brutal enough, Povetkin vs Ortiz can be made.

Exactly! A lot of these old guns will get boxed out of big fights like Briggs. Then people say hey how about Ortiz vs Briggs?
The money more times then not is just not there for these Heavyweight Contenders/Senior circuit.
