Bull****. Milk is good for you. I've been drinking 2-3 litres a day for around 5 years, never had any problems. If you can find an article stating milk killed someone from chemical poisoning I'd be interested.
There is nothing wrong with drinking 2% Milk frequently. You know a lot of the older boxers used to drink a full gallon of milk a day and a heavy stew to put on weight if they needed it. Not that it's the best way to go about it, but it worked out fine for them. Also per serving, whey protein is cheaper and more convenient than tuna/lean meat/milk. I agree with whoever mentioned buying a bigger 10LB tub from amazon, that's what I do and they tend to have dirt cheap prices and free shipping from time to time. P.S. I'm curious if you found that nutritional magazine online or in the mail? I'm an advocate for reading any boxing material.
Milk is good at what it does and that is putting fat on. The only reason I don't drink milk is the higher fat content compared to every other beverage. Great drink and healthy, but if you're trying to cut down on your fat I wouldn't recommend it.
