will be for Floyd's vacated junior middleweight belt? That's absolutely awful if the winner of this farce is a champion. I read over at boxing talk that it is quite likely they'll make the bout for the vacant belt.
Imo it's a decent fight. How exactly is it a farce? Forrest is faded but both are former linear welterweight champions.
Sorry, I meant a farce as a title fight. And I would say that because I wouldn't put either in the top ten at junior middleweight. Forrest has some solid wins but I think is 5 years removed from his last meaningful victory. Baldomir, imo, is a glorified journeyman who caught lightning in a bottle. Difference of opinion aside, have you or anyone else heard anything concrete about them fighting for the vacancy?
