Any Emanuel Burton/Augustus fans?

The Micky Ward fight won Fight of the Year for 2001 by The Ring.

Although he more or less got his ass kicked, Burton/Augustus at least was able to draw blood from Mayweather. He let Floyd know he was in a real fight.

 

I'am a fan. I feel he could have picked up a belt but was a horrible victim of robberies.

 

Him against mickey ward, Him against olivera. His last fight against Figorea was ok, but he was robbed. Part of being a journeyman lol

 

he was robbed most recently against feguroror or whateva his name is, he was winning that fight cleanly i felt sorry for him his careers has been treated like a piece of **** by ringside judges.

Ah! I'm crying. Thanks for the link. I like Augustus very much. There's only one like him. The guy must have dreamed of being a champ, it didn't happen but that has not stopped him to win his bread with the sport we all love.

Many other fights were very entertaining. Even the Mayweather fight is good, although EA lost every round.

 

how can anyone not like augustus? he definitely entertains alot more than other fighters with better records. a little more pop in his punches and he would of been world champ ages ago. if guys like freddie pendleton did it, why not him?

I met Freddie in September. Nice guy. They do have their similarities as far as the records. Given the right circumstance, Augustus will get his shot and win one. He also does the "river dance".:yep
