    Can't think of any...

and can't imagine someone like Ward, Rigondeaux, Lara suddenly becoming exciting lol

it happens the other way around though... Wladimir Klitschko an Tyson Fury are clear examples.. they were both very exciting to watch earlier in the careers.

Tim Bradley was boring before the Provodnikov fight, then he got a reputation as a great action fighter after just one fight. But it was all Provodnikov, and Bradley has bored everybody stiff ever since. Rigondeaux bores people to tears but against Amagasa he was pretty great. He mixed it up and closed the show. Lara's fight with Angulo was supposed to be exciting.

Chisora and Whyte just put on a bar burner without ever really exciting previously.

well early in his career, Razor Rudduck fought smart and fairly defensive (not boring to me) only to develop his "smash" which turned him into a very offensive fighter.

Ward became exciting while trying to get up off all fours after Sergey decked him. Then he went right back to his boring ways unfortunately

Bradley was my first thought. Juan Manuel Marquez as well.

Yeah I think both guy always want to come out and excite but certain guys and styles negate that,an example would be Chisora v Pulev where Chisora looked so basic like he only had that overhand right,Chisora and Whyte were made for each other both in the build up and in the ring it would seem?

Lennox was considered boring in his beginnings. He became more aggressive and took more risk later in his career.

Mathew Saad Muhummad. After losing a close decision he changed from a conservative fighter to a kill or be killed
fighter. Promoter Russell Peltz said " Franklin ( before name change) was more of a boxer than a puncher but
he was so distaught over the decision ( Eddie Mustafa Muhummad ) that he decided to change his style and start
slugging to take destiny out of the judge's hands .''
His was arguably the most exciting LHW ever.

It's usually the other way 'round, starting out like destroyers and then become boring and/or defensive later on in their careers.
That's also why you can't know if a boxer is going to be exciting when he's still in his bumbashing stage of his career. I've seen a lot of "saviors" turn to duds when they started to face guys that didn't fell over when they got touched, and actually hit back.
