Any fighters besides Leanord that successfully came back after a Detached Retina

    As far as I can tell that detached retina never gave Leanord any problems after he returned

    It's a rare injury but boxers can come back from it these days. Mikey Garcia is on his second one. Lawrence Clay Bey had tears. Lamon Brewster came back from a detachment, but retired after another eye injury that resulted in his cornea giving out.

    This. Pre 1960’s it was pretty much an automatic career ending injury that often resulted in blindness for the boxer.
