Wow, 3 rounds against a single-handed Vitali :hi: - how many rds. did he get about the child Tyson Fury?
It is a well known fact that Vitali shamefully attempted to cover up evidence of this KO. http://www.eastsideboxing.com/forum/showthread.php?t=391204
There is a RBR: http://www.eastsideboxing.com/news.php?p=9745&more=1 "So what was the real outcome of this 16-year-old contest? The most neutral source that I could find, and dont remember if I had mentioned, comes from a one Vladimir Zolotarev, who was an arbiter at the tournament in Tashkent. Zolotarev had this to say regarding the fight: To be honest, we didnt have a burning desire to go there (Tashkent) because Vitali had to participate in a Kickboxing tournament in Paris, France. We wanted Vitali to have ample time to heal up (Klitschko injured his right hand in the spring of 1991 at the Spartakiad Ukraine competition) or at the very least have a better chance of better recovering from the injury. Furthermore, participating in a world championship tournament was more prestigious overall. However, orders came from the top-not only should he go to Tashkent but he should come back victorious. I clearly remember the fight between Vitali and Oleg. It was the semi finals and Vitalis chief second was Mikhail Yakovlevich Matsyh, while I was one of the judges at the tournament. Before the fight, both Mikhail Yakovlevich and I warned Vitali to protect his right hand because otherwise the towel would be thrown in for him. Vitali did very well in the first round, boxing only with his left. However, towards the end of the stanza, Maskaev tried to rush him and Vitali met the attack with a right. During the break Mikhail Yakovlevich and I warned Vitali very sternly, and told him that one more right hand shot would warrant withdrawal from the fight. In the second Maskaev once again rushed Vitali and when he once again met the attack with a right, I gave Mikhail Yakovlevich the sign to throw in the towel immediately. I still remember how angry Vitali was with me. After that, Vitali became the World Champion of kickboxing in Paris. So Olegs statements regarding knocking Vitali down three times in the first, make me smile quite a bit."
anyway what? You're not pretending no one saw that are you? What happened to you man, you used to have Lewis in your avvy and everything. Where did it go wrong?
I've seen it, but it's not at all what people here are hyping it into. Vitali got hit with a spinning kick to the jaw and went down on all fours. It was a light-contact bout and so was immediately waved off with no count. Vitali wasn't knocked unconscious and got back up pretty fast. If it was boxing rules, the fight would probably have continued. Sorry if that isn't what all of you were hoping for.
I'm not doubting it happened because it very well could have, a spinning kick to the jaw could put anyone's lights out ..but the fact that so many people have 'supposedly' seen this video yet its not around for all to see is just strange. I'll believe it when I see it or there really is a legitimate source.
There's enough haters that if a video of the fight existing we'd have seen it by now. Therefore I conclude there is no video because it never happened.
As much as Klitschko fanboys annoy me, And as fun as it would be to watch them all go into a frenzy seeing Vitali on his hands and knees... It's a lil bit low that everyone is DESPERATE to see a vid of him being KO'd in 1992.. This was 20 years ago!
