I think he had like an injury or surgery that had him off for quite some time. That's why he looked a bit over weight in his last couple fights I believe. I have seen him fight live at the Alameda Swapmeet in LA and spar at the Maywood Gym. I think Khan is in for a surprise.

never heard of him or seen him

whose he fought, whose he beat

knowing Khan in his last 2 outings the writings on the wall the blue print is there

if Molina does what Peterson and Garcia did he could win

Khan is probably overlooking him as he is already saying he wants his rematch with Garcia

Khans in no position to overlook anybody

Abner Mares said that Carlos has a very good chance against Amir tho I guess Abner and Carlos are buddies.

if this is a out of shape molina, khan has a tough fight on his hands vs a fit one, he looks really good, good speed and timing. Am glad Team Khan haven't chosen a complete bum, this guy is a good test for Amir, especially after 2 losses.

Seems very poised and decent inside fighter and counters well as well, good all round fighter, only thing he lacks is height.

Khan has the potential to outbox him using his height and reach without too much trouble, but then he could also revert back to his old self and get suckered into a firefight after Molina lands his first big shot, in which case he gets busted up on the inside and countered throughout. It's going to be interesting to see just what changes Hunter has made to Khan's game in such a short space of time, if any.

Yeah, agree with DDDUUDDDEE in that Khan should make it easy for himself considering the height and reach advantages he's got.

But skimming through that video, Molina looks like he as nice, short, snappy punches close-up. No secret to what his game plan will be. Seems like he's got ok head movement, too, and so I expect him to bob and weave a lot - which can be useful considering how innacurate Khan can be sometimes.

It's not the head movement, It's molina's judgement of distance, he judges distance very well, he maintains his composure and counters, if khan overreaches expect Molina to Counter Effectively .

This is from 1 fight clip. Although it has been said this version isn't the fittest version of Molina, so we should expect a better version in their with khan.

He reminds me a bit of JMM with his stance and judging range, good footwork and head movement, plus decent handspeed too, Khan needs to be really focused.

Short, light punching, typical hand-picked Khan opponent.
