    Amatuer or Pro? I was an amatuer fighter, nothing great only 8 fights.

    I started boxing very late at 21, I wish it was earlier but O well.
    I had trained with pros myself. I think lot of pro champs will have problems if they fought top amatuers in an amatuer boxing fight. How many fights did you have ?

    Well hello Oliver Hardy - I think most people on here will have boxed to an amateur level.

    I'm from a boxing family - father was county and provincial champions, two brothers fought for provincial title - two cousins fought at national level and went on to be decent pros and take national titles

    I found out boxing is fun until you get hit. It loses its magic then

    I was 1-0 with one no decision as an amateur, but that no decision made Reid/Ottke look fair, my opponent was robbed blind!;)
