Thats a decent record. I will never forget my first fight, an hour before the fight I felt I couldnt move my legs let alone fight. Then when I got to the ring, my legs were suddenly back.
i fought open class. was a banger, fought very big men because i am a bit stumpy. it is and always will be my passion. even though competitive fighting was cruely taken from me, i still spar twice a week, between five-seven threes. if i had to stop, it would kill me quicker than my heart problem
you didnt need to introduce yourself - you do know you are the ONLY person ever to go on my "ignore" list on CM!!!
I hear ya! Yeah I've stopped boxing completely for 3 years now and it still feels like a part of me is missing. So I can imagine what the pros who've been doing it since 7 yrs old must feel like when their careers end.
My first fight was rather strange to say the least. Im not really at liberty to explain why because it's all a bit odd but I was down ( although not hurt...I was to find out what that was in later fight LOL) and then threw the best punch I ever threw in a ring very shortly after and was the first time I ever knocked anyone clean out. The fella was a lovely bloke ( I was in contact with him recently) and i'll never forget it...happy days.
I've just retired from CM tonight due to continuing threats. Had my fill of it. Boxing forums from now on for me.
I dont do arguing on here. This is where I talk boxing with people who really do know the game...and not wee numpties on CM!!!
I just checked. I was at that fight. I cant remember it. To be honest I cant really remember Burns that much. I just know of him through a relation.
