    Winner of Garcia/Matthysse?
Canelo if he wins against Floyd?

If there is a decisive winner between Floyd vs. Canelo, than they will be Fighter of the Year without question.

Winner of Garcia/Matthysse for sure. Though if Alvarez beats Mayweather he will most definitely get that title.

Rigondeaux has far and away the best single win so far this year, but I agree that any clear winner from Floyd/Canelo becomes the frontrunner.

Yeah lets get one thing straight, if Canelo beats Mayweather he just picked up one of the best wins of all time. Obviously, he would be FOTY.

    Few names up there.

    - If Marquez beats Bradley, he'll have defeated both him and Pac in the one year.
    - If Mayweather or Canelo beat one another decisively.
    - Rigo has the big win against Donaire, which already put's him straight in the mix, but if he could clock another decent victory then he would be difficult to top.
    - If Matthysse beats Garcia he'll have rounded off a year which began with knocking out Dallas Jr in 1 round, destroying Peterson then beating arguably the main man currently at 140 in Garcia.

For me, If Matthysse beats Garcia.. then it's difficult to look past him.

But then again, if Canelo beats Mayweather.. that is just huge.

GGG will have defended his title 5 times this year before its over. even though they are mostly **** title defenses , its worth noting and he should be in the running

Floyd if he beats Canelo. He humiliated a guy who hadn't lost in about 8 years in the Ghost and he'd be beating a recognized top 10 P4P undefeated big JMW in Alavarez. Would be an impressive year for FLoyd even though he's only fought twice this year.
