like a behind the scenes kind of thing. like promoting, money, negotiating, hbo involvement, politics, and all that good stuff. i know the basics, but i want to know more details. any suggestions? thanks
Check out The Last Great Fight by Joe Layden. It's a behind the scenes look at Mike Tyson and Buster Douglas, everything that happened to them leading up to their fight, and everything that's happened since. It's a great read.

I read the book I think it was called "the black lights" a book about Billy Costello in the early 80's. It was very interesting on how much money fighters would get after everyone takes their share. They explain the in an outs of boxing.
