Well today I was sparring and...... you guessed it, the contact flew out. My power is -8, so that means I can't see for without them. I do wear soft contacts already, but each session they come out

Any suggestions on some good contacts?

Ya I use daily use contacts. Mine fall out easily as well.

  3. Never had that happen.

Scary if it did, I've seen it happen in a boxing match (can't remember the name of the fighters, maybe cuban amateurs) and the rules stated the match must go on. This must be changed or seen to for safety reason.

I went on, and I couldn't see anything coming. My coach told me that if the reff were to find out that someone's contact falls that they stop the fight and you lose :/

Although I have yet to do this either :/

Good on you for continuing. Any real fighter would of stayed in there.

TKO via contact lense falling out. How stupid does that sound

I wear contacts sometimes too, I'd prefer to fight with them in but I see just well enough to fight without them. I look at it as a disability though, it's not a boxing commission's job to accommodate for all of them. If you have one, and you can't compete..it just sucks. If they did then where does it stop? Wheel-chair access for rings so people with no legs can fight for the heavy-weight title? Shorter rounds for folks with severe A.D.D? Brass knuckles for folks with brittle fist? Sometimes we just can't do a certain thing for whatever reason, and if we can't overcome the reason on our own then we just have to sit it out.

Just wear the disposable ones because they are bound to fly out at some point. It helps if you get those little liquid tear pod thingys. Mine only come out when it's dry.

  8. Come to think of it, you can get kind of lenses attached to your eye for a lengthy period of time. I had it suggested to me by my Optometrist. I pretty told him to get ****ed so I don't know much on it. Maybe someone else does?
