I am only able to train with dumbbells from the house at the minute. I do a full body workout three times a week but my lats aren't building at all. I want to add some exercises to build them up but I don't know any.

I haven't got a pull up bar either as the missus wont let me put them on the door frames.

How about jogging to a park and doing some pullups on the ****** bars or something? That would be good.

Be a man and do it! show her who the boss is lol

on a serious note maybe if u posted what you already do it would be easier to see

  5. This, if you dont want to join a gym, then go to the local park and use either goal posts or climbing equipment. If your too lazy to do this then the db rows hit your lats slightly, but not in the same way a good old fashioned pullup/chinup would.

Exactly this. Pullups will do wonders for your lats.

And why won't she let you put it on the door frames? Pullup bars are designed so they DO NOT break door frames, even if you're a fatty like me.

Ill check the parks out but there have been a few pulled down in my area due to chavs using them as drinking dens. There was one that used to have loads but it got pulled down last year.

Yeah, ill try them, I got loads of weights in the house so it shouldn't be hard to switchg them around to make a set of dumbbells heavy enough.:good

It's because we have a toddler in the house and we need to be able to shut the doors cause he gets all over.

My training regime at the minute is weights 3 times a week.

    Shoulders:

    Shuffles 3 x 24
    Shoulder press 3x12
    Front Raise 3x12
    Side Raise 3x12

    Chest

    Flys 3x12
    Chest press 3x12
    Inclined Chest Press 3x12
Not sure what the exercise is called but you lift the weight from your chest and over behind your head whilst lying on the bench. 3x12

    Arms

    Curls 3x24
    Inverted curls 3x12
    Tricep press 3x12
    Hammers 3x12
    twists 3x12

    Single Arms rows 3x12

    3 runs a week - 5 mile
ab workout 3 times a week P90X Ab ripper X

I'm between work at the minute so I needed to cut the gym out till I find a new job, Theres a school next to me with outdoor goalposts, ill see if I can use them. Cheers

Cheers Ill check the site out and see if I can find anything I can use:good

Basically 1 set of heavy high rep rows.

I think Kroc got around 20-30 reps each arm with something like 250lbs. You definatly feel it the next day.
