I understand how the first fight played out to most it wasnt too enjoyable and as an Alexander fan there is no excuse for him quitting in that fight although he was clearly losing. At this point Alexander seems to have matured as a fighter and even though through no fault of his own his Wetler tenure hasn't been amazing beating Baily, Midana, & Purdy he is currently a highly rated champ in the division with a defense coming up in Dec vs Porter. Inversely Bradley who has been higher profile since there fight has managed to show his toughness and resolve as a champion with his latest string of victorys over Pacquiao, Provonidkov, and Marquez. Part of me thinks a more focused Alexander could possibly beat Bradley but, Bradley has shown time and again that his will at time can get him the decision with all the title holders per division making an Bradley-Alexander II for the WBO & IBF belts cleans it up a bit and a another unification fight is always great for the sport the winner could also be in line for a shot at Mayweather to crown a new undisputed lineage at Welter
Jesus no why would you want us to all suffer that again, that was a brutal and i mean brutal fight to watch, if it gets made i honestly won't be watching
Completely understand the first bout wasn't really good enough to call a dud not to make that drastic of a comparasion but the latest espn 30 for 30 shold tell you sometimes rematches can change dramatically form the original
why? timothy has improved leaps and bounds in my eyes and alexander is still... alexander lol bradleys got bigger fish to fry
It would be a brilliant eliminator for a Mayweather fight once Bradley's contract expires with Top Rank.
Both fighters have shown a steady improvement in there respective games obviously Brafley has been about to showcase this against a higher level of competition Alexander should have gotten two quailty wins this year if it was for Brook and Kahn ducking out of the fight. Again I to see the reservation toward this bout but as an elimenator of sorts on free tv this is still a bout pitting two of the best Welters and two champions in the division. Maybe its just wishful fandom talking but I don't think Alexander quits twice against Bradley which in turn could make it a better more competitive fight than the first.
Also considering the attributes both bring to the table the winner would be prime to atleast be competitive in an eventual Mayweather fight controversy aside I feel Bradley maybe the only fighter who could possibky take Mayweather's 0.
only if alexander's off eye...you know, the one that didnt get hit...is fully healed. he should not put himself in harms way if he still can't see out of that good eye.
