Easy Phenomunon, yeah prime 1918 Jack was I think 2nd best heavyweight champ ever - I'm a huge fan - he was electric - get yourself on classic as much as you can - if I need any back up against the Dempsey haters I'll give you a shout -Peace

Me! My dad actually saw him fight in his prime and Dempsey was my dad's #1 heavyweight of all time. Thanks for the tribute!

Bobbing and weaving style making early Dempsey difficult to hit on chin
Fast as a welterweight onhis feet and his attack
Great set of whiskers
Great infighter and best rough and tumble fighter in history
Most effective against larger fighters, because of his crouching style enabling Dempsey to get under larger fighters and slam the midsection--As Ray Arcel noted the prime Dempsey had no weakness....
Along with the young Joe Louis my all time greatest heavyweights...

 

Never been a fan of Jack Dempsey. I like Harry Wills a bit better. I don't rate Dempsey in my top 10 heavyweights of all time list anymore. But awesome tribute! I really enjoyed it!! Dempsey was a beast!

 

I wish there were better quality films of his fights. He's always a thrill to watch. One of my favorites, for sure.
