the pokey got knocked down twice and simply didn't do enough to win it. He said he was going to knock him out but he didn't even try.

Spot on. I agree Wilder looked ragged in the last 4 rds, but he had two knockdowns and Fury himself admitted the first one was legit.

Anyone who thinks Fury clearly won the first 3 or 4 needs to switch the commentary off. Wilder was the aggressor, landed the cleaner punches. Loads of Fury's hit air or gloves (which the American commentators did NOT comment on), what he did do well though was stick his tongue out and raise his arms at the end of each round.

With the two 10-8 rounds Wilder only needed to win 3 of the remaining 10 which he clearly did.

It probably helps that I watched it with Russian commentary. Sounds like the English commentaries have brainwashed people.

 

I watched it with American commentators and they all thought Fury won and in Paulie Malinaggis opinion it was robbery.

 

I rest my case.

 

Will never understand how anyone could get to a Wilder win. Was one of the easier fights to score for a while

 

Because the people in question dislike Tyson Fury and can't be objective.

 

2 knockdowns what's that 10 - 8. 4 rounds to the devastating bronze bomber? Won at least 2 other rounds in there too. Fury needed to stay on his feet. That last knockdown sealed the deal, to a draw scenario.
