I agree with most of your post. I give Pac a punchers chance but to beat Floyd you need a serious jab. Not only does he hold the physical advantages in height and reach, but he can fight at long distance, he can infight, he can fight going forward, backward and side to side. Pac's last 4 opponents were stationary targets. Pac gets hit alot. I just see a brutal ass whooping coming. Then we can get what I always wanted Cotto vs Mayweather at 154.

PS I was responding to post #14 PBFred

Anyone who thinks Pac-Mayweather going to be an easy night's work for either man is out of their ****ing minds. It's the fight of the generation for a reason.

    That is all. :yep

I'm much more concerned about Mosely. I really see Floyd catching Manny coming in all night long. The way Pac fought against Clottely was rather amatuerish in the way he was pretty much squared up all night and just unloading as if he were hitting a heavy bag.

If Floyd throws as soon as Manny starts to fire he'll catch him and hold him off. Whether it be with a jab, straight right or check hook, he'll potentially turn it into an outclassing.

With Mosely, I'm worried that Floyd won't have as many opportunties and will have a harder time finding his offensive motivation. Shane gets hit, but I think he hits harder and could do much more damage if he catches Floyd flush.

after seeing Manny Sat night I dont think the mayweather-pac fight will be as competitive as I thought..Floyd knocks him late:good Manny makes a lot of mistakes coming in..Joshua made him pay a few times but he was too scared to let his hands go

    pbf by ko...

potshooting in the early rounds then steeping on the gas on later rounds as pac becomes frustrated from all the running and then BAM....floyd via knock out....

I think Mayweather wins fairly easily. If Pacquiao had problems with Marquez countering him he'll be worse off against Mayweather. Even Cotto countered him with ease. Mayweather is faster, more athletic, much better defensively, uses head movement, and has better overall mobility than those two as well. For Pacquiao to be effective he needs his opponents to stand right in front of him and Mayweather won't do that. He'll show Manny things he's never seen before. Pacquiao can't beat Floyd. His chances of winning are extremely slim.

I am both a fan of both Pac and Floyd (i'd love to break his teeth and sew his lips shut) and i can honestly say Floyd would win via UD. Ain't no way hes going to beat pac by ko or tko. The dude couldn't even knock out a fat slow lightweight. It'll be an extremely boring fight as the "bigger" man would have the smaller asian fighter chase him the entire time. Who knows though, maybe Roach might have something in store.
I do want to see Pacquiao fight Mosley because I know it'll be a better fight, but the thought of small asian crushing a loudmouth punkbitch is much more satisfying. :happy

FMJ will KO Pac. Pac was hurt in the Clottey fight. Clottey did that with ZERO use of feet to increase his punch strength. Pac was also extremely hittable. If Clottey actually managed distance with his feet we may have seen a more interesting fight.

Manny will fight FMJ and literally jump into punches. The straights will be devastating.

WTF? C'mon son, name who these fighters are who Floyd starched that have better chins then Pac. Hatton? LMAO. That was his last pure stoppage and only his second stoppage out of five fights as a welter. He doesn't rely on pure power.

Just because there are stupid Pac fanboys out there who think he is god doesn't mean they are way far off from the truth. Pac indeed does have one of the best chins in boxing(he takes shots just like he did at 126) and Floyd doesn't beat guys with solid chins by stopping them, he outboxes them and breaks them down. If Pac's chin was so bad he would have been badly shook by Cotto's heavy hands yet he was able to walk through those shots.
