Any Mexican Boxer Who Can Save Mexican Boxing?

Yeah I dont think it needs saving its very alive especially with Tv Azteca putting them shows on. But on the real though it hasnt been a good year for Mex fighters honestly and Puerto Rican As well. Im hoping Cotto pulls out a W though.

 

Mexico will always produce great fighters just like Brazil will always produce great footballers (soccer players for the benefit of the USAbians)

Everything has ups and downs. This thread just shows how relevant Mexico is to boxing. When a Canadian loses,we dont see many Canadian boxing threads.

I'm happy with how my country is represented but I'm also a hardcore boxing fan and there is great amount of talent all over the world to keep me busy.

okay blue ray, now tell me that mexican boxing is in such a bad shape that it needs "one" fighter to rescue it. listen, mexican boxing isn't like philippine boxing where it relys or depends on just one fight (pacquiao) to make it legit.

in about 2 or 3 years you will hear a guy called Miguel Beltran Jr !!! I have high hopes from this guy...

dude, he (beltran jr.) is one of my favorite young prospects from mexico. i've seen him a total of three times now and he is just so fast and impressive. currently i just saw him on that tv azteca program "campeon azteca". have you watched it? it's like the american version of THE CONTENDER but they have two weight classes involved. lightweight and featherweight. beltran jr. is fighting in the featherweight division and just beat "chucky" lazcano last week. on this tv program, the featherweights have better fighters than the lightweights but i'm friggin' loving every minute of it.
