Nope. But I basically get the feeling that he's gonna have a long lay off. Its been over 3 months & no news of him negotiating with anyone for a fight. Cotto is most likely gonna get Cintron, so theres no other decent fight out there. He'll probably do his mandatory, whoever IBF places in front of him. If I was him I would try to get Quintana

There was talk of Clottey-Williams but I guess THAT is flushed now that Paul is heading upwards.

Cotto-Clottey isn't likely so maybe he'll feast on the likes of Cintron, Collazo and such.

Paul Williams said that the Clottey camp got QUIET after he responded to them.

Paul Williams says that about EVEEEEEEEEEEERY camp and then some.

There isn't any reason that fight shouldn't happen.

I know that, that fight is basically a done deal. But I'm talkng about the February fight for Cotto, he's most likely gonna get Cintron, which means that Clottey wont get him.

The Cotto vs. Jennings fight would be in February.

Yeah, but if they cant finalize that fight, they're gonna just take Cintron. Once tha Jennings fight is finalized, Clottey should then try to go after Cintron being that he wins against N'dou.

I'm a big Clottey fan and I hope he keeps fighting and winning. Beat one guy and than the next guy. Clottey is a hell of a fighter. He called out Berto after he busted up Judah. Berto dont want to fight him apparently.

To me, he's very good & I can see him beating every blown up welter out there. Only welter I can see beating him is Williams.

The big fights at welter would be the Margorito-Mosley winner and Cotto. Those would be the highest profile and biggest paying fights for CLottey. Right now he might be too high risk/low reward for those fights. He needs to stay active. If he keeps knocking off quality opponents than the momentum will build and he could land one of those fights. He fought 3 months ago and has nothing lined up, he could be going six months or more in between fights by the time he's back in the ring. Hard to become an attractive option when you don't do anything to put yourself in the spotlight.

If he can't land one of the big fights at welter than he might want to consider moving up to jr middle or even middleweight.
