The golden age of MMA is just beginning, the quality is now starting, the UFC has a better roster than any org in history. If you prefer a corrupt as **** organization, that has 0 drug testing, fixed fights, pathetic freakshow fights, run by organized crime, then hey, the UFC is not for you. And say what you want about TUF, but one TUF'er beat one of Pride's poster boys, Shogun, who was conisdered the number 1 LHW in the world. You're simply ignorant to think that TUF fighters don't deserve respect just because they were on a TV show. :deal
imo i think pridefc is better becuz soccer kicks and stomps which gives a striker better chances of winning a ground fighter, the fact that they have freakshows once in a while(hey if you dont then how the heck would anyone see that martial arts can beat freak of natures), and the actually post their scoring system(bisping vs hamil fight i did not see how bisping won and there wasnt a legit scoring system to justify the win) things i like about ufc is that it has elbows and also very close match ups and to ironduke, you do have your reasons but there is no need for hating fedor and other pridefc fighters(i notice that by reading quite a few of your posts that you pretty much nutride ufc) shogun was injured before the fight(he underwent a surgery and it wasnt an excuse that he made up) imo there are no such things as organization fighters really... thats just like saying RINGS was the best org becuz fedor came from there or tko is teh best just becuz gsp came from there just my .02 cents :hat
I get the soccer kicks and stomps argument, I miss both of those. I agree Hammil got absolutely robbed, but don't quite get what you're saying, there is a list of UFC judging criteria, and each judge has to justify giving a fighter 2/3 rounds, not just the fight as a whole, so there is less room for corruption. Also one of the judges for that fight gave a detailed explanation of his reasoning on another forum, he was dead ****ing wrong but at least there is accountability. As for Shogun vs Forrest, Forrest also had surgery right after the fight for a serious pre-existing injury.

We can all sit here and pick holes in any fighter or any org but lets be real your not privy to anything so please stop stating and repeating all your conjecture and opinions as though there now fact because the UFC is now left standing tall. Yes they`ve had a great year. They bought PRIDE and the WFA and raped there roster so yes now they have the best roster as there the main org in MMA. Prior to that when PRIDE was in its hey day do you honestly believe the UFC ranks and shows were more stacked than a PRIDE event? Is it even worth debating the point?
