All gone a bit quiet on his side for a while. Should be shouting for a British shot by now or pushing on for Euro? Seems a bit forgotten on the domestic scene.

Vessell vs Purdy II is very likely to be on the Froch - Bute undercard

It would be if Purdy gets over his power. It's not that great, but he has seemingly fallen in love with it for some reason.

Maybe he has a good reason for these long stretches of inactivity but I can only think that he doesn't have much ambition in boxing

He works in a bank full time I think. I think he's fond his level in boxing and is taking things slow.

Good question that, I'd been wondering myself about his inactivity.

Vassell-Purdy II would be great to watch again from a fans' point of view, but for Denton I don't see it really being a step forward in any way. I'd expect it to go pretty much the same way as the 1st, a very exciting fight with Vassell taking it again on pts.

I have my doubts about how far Denton can actually go with his style but the good thing is I'm sure it will provide us with plenty of top fights in the future.

Ok but how many years has it been since he fought Purdy and he has hardly done anything since. Hatton has had enough shows in that time for him to have done something. They even ran off TV for Watson-Purdy 2

To be fair, Uushona and Colomban were good wins for him after the Purdy fight.

Definitely. Both are decent fighters, Uushona especially (fighting ex-IBF champ Zavek soon). Should be pushing on from both those. Guessing he doesn't shift many tickets as well?
