Any news on Gegard?

Scurlaruntings just spoke with him at an expo last week. Maybe he knows something.

 

I was too over awed to ask to be honest It was only afterwards i realised i should have asked him about his fight with Mo but i had already bothered him twice and he seemed rather busy with his colleagues.

 

I doubt Mo is that eager to give him a rematch. Has Mo's eyes opened yet? haha

 

I hope he fights alittle more aggressive in his next bout vs whomever it is. What I didnt like was Mousasi giving no effort to stuff takedowns and fighting so conservativly. I know you gotta pace yourself for 5 rounds but he just didnt put out enough effort IMO in that fight and he still got gassed. Watching that bout I felt like he couldnt give 2 shits about winning or losing it.

 

King Mo aint the best of wrestlers and has no stand up and dominated Mousasi , the man belongs in Strike force with the rest of the pretenders (Nick Diaz) excluded !!!!!

Fedor and Gilbert Melendez arent pretenders.

 

My problem with Gil Melendez , Fedor & Overeem is that they are worthy of being mentioned as " top bracket world level fighters " in Fedors case a P4P entry and possible #1 !!!!

But continue to apply there trade outside of the UFC , who's to say how good these guys are , with Fedor we have evidence of how good he was in Pride as they had the best HW division available at that time , but he hasnt faced a modern day HW monster such as Velasquez & co !!!!

Overeem is having a good run @HW after realising he is a true HW , and i hope if he does beat Fedor he joins the UFC , he'd be a great addition .

Melendez ................. who's to say Griffin , Florian , Maynard , Edgar , Guida and the likes dont just roll over him , no shame in that , they are some of the worlds best 55'ers , but is'nt that what being one of the worlds best fighters is about , fighting the worlds best !!!! , something Melendez just isnt doing !!!!!!

As for Nick Diaz , he aint never fighting again in the UFC again and im not sure i can blame him , he's had some bad decisions go against him , but then dont all fighters get that , half of me thinks Diaz is a great fighter and probably deserves the accolades and paydays he'll be getting outside the UFC and half of me thinks , hhhmmmm couple of bad decisions , grow the **** up and get back in the mix and confirm how good you are !!!!!!!
