His next opponent was meant to be JMM in late May. But Hatton is so out of shape that there is no way he make that date or weight.

I reckon he's going to retire.

Well there was a thread started the other day by someone, who bumped in to JMM at some event, or a night out. Posted the pics up too.

He asked him what his next plans are, and apparantly JMM said his next opponent would be Hatton in May. I'm not sure how serious JMM was when he said this, but if Ricky wasn't in such bad condition, I could definately see this fight taking place

He's fighting Butterbean at the Leigh Sports Centre - he was impressed with his exploits in Hulk Hogan's Celebrity Wrestling

I agree. A tune up fight for Hatton would be in order. The only way he has a chance of beating JMM is if he fights the way he fought PM. If, and this is a big if, Hatton manages to beat JMM, then I think immediate retirement will be out of the question for Hatton.

How does Hatton even legitimate a claim to fight either a top ten p4p fighter or a current world champion?

2defeats in 4 fights! and inactivity for almost a year!

    Surely doesn't credit that

I'd love to see him fight Marquez would be such a good fight but i think Marquez takes it quite easy though.

He's going in for liposuction next week. Training regime hasn't been working all that well.

I reckon he is finding it a hard slog to get the weight off. Personally I think he won't fight again despite these rumours, but I guess we will have to wait and see.
