Got some tickets for this and was wondering if anyone had heard anything about who is on the card? I heard a rumour that Fury/Mcdermott might be on there.. aswell as Degale, not sure if there is any truth behind that however.

Fury mcdermott was reported in boxing news as a possibility. Degale wont be on the card as he's a warren fighter. The groves fight aint happening any time soon.

Rhodes might be if they sort their arguments out.

Nothing yet sadly. I'm hoping otherwise, but brace yourself for an undercard of Froch v Dirrell levels.

    I'd be very surprised if it's a good'un.

Perfect time for Hatton and Hayemaker to get their heads together.

If they get fury mcdermott that's a good start. Groved will be on it in some capacity. Maybe a fight with dilks or amadu or whatever the guy's called.

I also read in boxing news when the fight was confirmed for manchester that guzman might be on the card

Do we know if this has US tv yet?

From 25-600. Whenever we watch boxing at M.E.N we aim to get on the first tier - square to the ring and as low down as possible, cracking view.. which i have done again this time. this sets you back about 80quid.

Yeah i was wondering how Degale would fight on the card as he is with Warren.. but i read something about it in the newspaper the other day about it happening so was a bit curious.

Who is putting the fights together for this? Hayemaker or GBP? Can not see anyone putting anything decent on it to be honest.

Fair point, but you'd have to say Hayemaker needs Hatton a dam site more than Hatton needs Hayemaker so I'd say that is unlikely.

Surely the blindingly obvious option is some sort of deal with gulp, Hennessy to fill the undercard. He's got boxers that need fights on TV and two of Murray, O'Donnell or Barker will fill the two fights before the main event on Sky Box Office.

Hayemaker can get away with putting on a **** undercard for the paying public because of the popularity of the main event and a lot of tickets have been sold already. If ticketmaster isn't lying and there aren't many seats left then the need for a good undercard is negated. However this isn't Friday Fight Night, this is on Sky Box Office, and will need two decent fights before the main event for the viewers at home.

Groves 'should' be there, but its whether he's in a competitive fight or not.

It'll never happen, but Fat Mick needs to make the call to Hayemaker to pad the undercard out. Two of his title holders on the televised bit, and some of his 'prospects' that are exposed by journeymen in their first fight would make an acceptable undercard.

EDIT: People are living in a dream world if they think Guzman or Katsidis will be on the bill. Presuming HBO do what they usually do with world title fights from europe and show them on tape delay, there is no need for Golden Boy to do anything on the undercard.

Quite lame organisation from Hayemaker here so far.

Surely you'd think, 1st major heavyweight title defence in UK for years, lets put on a show that eclipses 'night of champions' a.k.a 'boxing special' this saturday. Im actually wondering if its even worth getting there when the doors open for 5.30pm? Or will i be helping set up the ring at that time?!!

Hayemaker have been nothing but **** so far. Awful cards and awful soft match making.

I doubt Hatton will lend them fighters because he has his own Sky dates to fill. GBP may put a little pressure on though hopefully.

Dont think it will be on hbo. They haven't picked up jones hopkins later in the same night. That's on a golden boy ppv channel. They'll probably add the manchester leg to that if anything.

    Wonder if showtime are interested?

the Haye vs Ruiz is going to be on HBO in the free first hour of the HBO PPV for Jones vs Hopkins.

Jones vs Hopkina is HBO PPV.

Im hearing Rhodes in euro defence, Groves in a decent test and maybe Fury vs McDermott.

Hayemaker could put on **** and just rely on the main event but thats not there style.
