Jones-Hopkins is not HBO PPV - it'll be a Golden Boy PPV like Marquez-Casa was. You won't have HBO commentators or graphics. HBO are only distributing it. That's like Sky selling a PPV on Box Office but not producing it.
So are we saying that Sky will try and appease the public by showing the British PPV and American PPV for one fee...therefore by-passing the complaints if the Haye undercard is pants?
Quite possibly. But they are going to have a lot of time to fill between the Haye fight finishing and the US card starting, so presumably there will need to be some decent fights. Even more so if they don't start the programme with the Haye fight a'la FFN.
Just looking at ticketmaster's interactive map for the Haye fight, there isn't many tickets left. 645 tiered seats, and 949 floor seats. Surely they haven't released all the tickets yet, as they've never sold that many have they? Either way, a lot have been sold which bodes well for Haye. Doesn't bode well for us hoping for a good undercard though. Incidentally, you can still get 2 front row seats from TM, a snip at £625 each.
