When I tore my ACL I was so depressed I even considered suicide, then I saw this interview with Paul Williams and seeing how positive he was, saying he was "just chilling in a wheelchair because he got tired of walking" with a big smile on his face knowing he could never walk again and yet stay so positive made me realize I should quit being a ***** and focus on rehab. Anyway I was just wondering if anyone heard any recent news of how he is doing? This is the interview I was talking about https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EfJUnt8k3is
I think he was at the Mayweather-Maidana II fight. He was in good spirits from what I hear taking pictures and talking to fans.
He's doing well but his hopes of walking again getting slimmer each day...almost seems certain now that he will remain in a wheelchair unless future medical advances allow for surgery that may help him.
I didn't realize that he was scheduled to fight Canelo before the accident. I wonder how Canelo's career would have gone if Punisher beat him.
Paul is an incredible individual. Also a lot smarter than most realize. Made wise choices with his money early on. I keep hoping to hear that the swelling has subsided and he might be able to walk again.
