There was talk of him moving up to featherweight. If his punch power is similar to it was at Bantamweight he will be in big trouble at featherweight. Be interesting to see if he has much more pop in his shots, as he must have been badly weight drained fighting at bantamweight.
The lad often looks ill, he's unhealthily thin, if you ask me. Both of those boys show incredible dedication to their profession but there comes a point where getting down to such a weight just isn't right.
Boiled himself down far too much then bloated himself. I read somewhere he had no interest in boxing just happened to be something he could make a living at
He's planning on a comeback. https://boxing-social.com/features/...of-the-dice-jm/amp/?__twitter_impression=true
Can't see him doing much now to be honest. At 34 years old, out of the ring for over a year, naaah I'm just not seeing it. That said.. Hearn might get a few easy'ish fights and get him in a position to get a shot at something, maybe a decent final payday against a domestic rival. I am not a fan but I honestly wish him well, from what I've read he's been through a really tough time personally, I hope he can do something to give him a base/springboard to a good future.
Good luck to Jamie, but making a comeback at 34 in the lower weights is a big ask if your going for the glory. There'll be opportunity for him to make a few £ I'm sure but coming back and winning titles is a big task. Hope it works out for him tho
