I think he needs to take a tune-up fight before moving up. He looked a bit rusty in his last fight.

Strange than a good up-and-comer like Bryant Jennings who need a bit more experience is being kept inactive by his promoter.

He's fought only once this year, and has nothing scheduled for the fall.

Yup, they are discussing the Adamek fight with Main Events. I hope it gets made.

Wilder has called him up a while ago, that would be a nice matchup as well.

He was offered a fight with Wlad for last may, given the current trend, it would not surprise me to hear he signs to fight Wlad next december.

Totally agree. Jennings fought 5 times last year and 6 the year before and has fought just once this year and probably finishes with 2 fights total.

I'm guessing that negotiating a fight with Wlad may have held him up some but he should have fought more than once by this point.

I see his people are trying to get an HBO fight with Adamek and that would be a very interesting fight but I read HBO isn't crazy about it for some reason.

Main Events has 2 cards coming up on NBC/NBC Sports later this year and I'd expect to see him on one of those if the Adamek fight doesn't get made. I think Jennings against someone like Cunningham or Glazkov (who I think are both with Main Events) would be a very good main event for one of those cards.

:patsch yes, lets only talk about the elites. Why even talk about fighters like Gatti or Ward? They are not elite... no need to watch them fight.

Jennings is a good fighter and a fun watch.

jennings is very average and he gets alot of hype.to much on this forum

then you have wilder and mago who get little respect and jennings is ducking them both.

    funny stuff

Adamek or Glaskov would be great fights to keep Jennings moving forward.

A fight with Tor Hamer or DelBoy would also be solid step ups.

DelBoy aint the best body puncher so I'd think Jennings would be effective punping the jab and drilling him with uppercuts as he lumbers in.

I agree that he needs to forget a fight with Wlad and get busy or he'll look bad like he did in his last fight.:think

When there is no need of speaking about him, why replying in this thread ?

Probably you don“t like him, cause he already beat two Eastern Euros. Poor boy !

you are an below average poster but still people (including me) reply to your posts...
jennings is in my opinion a decent fighter and right now somewhere between the lines of boytsov, wilder, price and so on. he definitely has potential to improve althought he's probably never going to win against either klitschko.

Jennings is like the heavyweight version of Lamont Peterson
as soon as he steps up to a top 20 heavyweight he gets beat.
Unlike Peterson who was in the weakest division in boxing (140) there isn't any Amir Khans at heavyweight to pick up a paper belt
