He's going to fight this fall. If Jeff Lacy wins on Wednesday (ESPN2), chances are you'll have Taylor/Lacy on regular HBO. If Lacy loses or looks really bad, who knows.

What I've read on ESPN indicates that Lampley is right, but I would add that DiBella has been quoted as saying that if that fight fell through he would probably go with Carl Froch for the WBC belt.
Last I heard, he was rumored to fight Carl Froch for the vacant WBC Super Middleweight Title.. When? No clue.
Apparently, Froch priced himself out of the fight. I'd actually rather see that match over Taylor/Lacy, though, given how Jeff has looked of late. Hopefully he'll have a good outing on Wednesday and get everyone psyched for a Taylor fight.
