    Whichever Solis comes back into the scene, whether in or outta shape, he's not a world beater as evidenced in his fights with Austin(lower Bclass) and Welliver(Cclass at fight time).
    I don't know why people give him sooooo much credit for his Vitali round, but Vitali is a slow started typically, and Solis is a big boy, so the glancing shot that buckled Solis showed clearly that even had his knee held that huge wieght, he was not gonna fare well in the following rounds.

    Still, there's unfinished business there for Vitali, and I hope Solis can eek out a couple of decent wins so we can see how badly even a 42 y/o Vitali or a 37 y/o Wlad will dominate him.
    I hope he comes back sooner rather than later b/c I'd rather Vitali is able to finish him instead of Wlad.

    He would have given Vitali much harder fight than Adamek.

    He's the third best HW in the game because he gave the tougher Klitschko his last competitive round since Lewis.

    Neither Adamek nor Arreola even came came close to winning a round off Vitali. Not to mention Sosnowski or Kingpin, who are gatekeepers. I had Solis 10-9 winning round 1 before that freak injury.

    As much as I hate to say it the HW division kinda needs him.. Nothing left for the klits to clean up.

    Who would you consider better than an in-shape Solis? Haye?:think

    Haye wouldn't even get past an out-of-shape Solis. An in-shape motivated Solis is the only real threat for K bros at the moment.

    And, be honest, you know that Solis landed more in 1 round vs Vitali than Adamek did in the whole fight.

    And, Solis may be fat but he has very good handspeed and can counter nicely with overhand rights.:thumbsup

    I agree with you, but I'll have to see how Solis does in his comeback fight. The way he fought before the injury he would currently be ranked #3 for me as a HW...that's not saying much but still....

    was curious as to who he though was better....

    HELENIUS would make ANY version of Solis his *****, and yeah, Haye would prolly stop him to.

    Unlike so many casual fans on this board who only watch the boxrec top 20, I watch many local fighters from across the globe, and I watched an in shape Solis struggle at times with Welliver who was 300lbs and took the fight on 10 days notice.

    The Welliver of today outworks Solis for a UD no doubt about it for me. Seth Mitchell KOs Solis, KJ prolly UDs him, Arreola beats him, Wach KOs him, Rodriguez prolly KOs him, Thompson KOs him, and Chambers UDs him. Potvetkin would UD him. Chagaev, Peter, and Tiggy beat him.

    toss ups would be Fury, but I'd take Solis to KO him, Perez(I'd prolly take Mikey), DelBoy(war of tig ol bitties)Ustinov prolly UDs him, Banks(draw)Monsour, (I might take Monsour to stop him) I could go on and on and on.

    Solis= OVERRATED to the fullest.

    Make the guy ****ing fight. Make him say yes or no in public to the Welliver/Mitchell/Rodriguez call outs. Yeah, those guys don't get him a million $$$ payday, but they'd certainly earn him some respect in my eyes. Until then, he's a fat, worhtless HW only fighting for a shot at glory, and will fight the Greers and the Gaverns until the K2 or Potvetkin give him a 6-7 figure payday.
