    Hey guys,

I haven't heard anything about Pavlik's next comeback fight. I worry when he isn't lined up to face a new opponent. I don't want him to have too much idle time to hit the bottle again and fall off the wagon. Anyone heard anything?

I wanna see him fight Bika. I'd hate to see him fight smeone like Allan Green but I'm afraid that will be what happens. Bika is tough, pretty well known and will give us a good indicator of where Pavlik is. Even if he wins impressivley its nots like people would favour him over the likes of Ward/Dawson, Froch etc but he would at least deserve a shot.

Pavlik looks done to me. Lets be honest in his last fight he won clean but he should have had that dude out of there. He's not at the level he once was.

No one even really knows how good Rosinsky is.
He should have had a win over Edwin Rodriguez.

I don't get the "Pavlik should have taken Will out in less than 5" when people really don't have a true gage on how good he even is.

And saying that so and so should have been KOd at all.... when it's not like he has a history of someone getting KOd - what if the guy can take a kick by a horse? Seems odd to think that this guy should have been KOd.

Well, of the fights that could realistically be made for Pavlik at this point in his development, I would love to see him fight Anthony Dirrell, Edwin Rodriguez or Donovan George but I'm not sure when Kelly plans on fighting next...
If he's looking to fight one more time in 2012 then Donovan George and Rodriguez won't be available and I'm not sure if Dirrell wants the fight. That basically leaves Andrade, Bryant or Gonzalez. Gonzalez is a southpaw...not gonna happen... so I guess that leaves Bryant or Andrade? We'll see I suppose...

I'd be surprised if he wasnt in oxnard right now. he's been good about staying in the gym since he's been with garcia. he had a cut from a headbutt in the rosisnky fight that needed to heal.

put him in there w/ tommy gun. top ten type that has been mentioned for a froch fight as well. see whats what. i don't think tommy has a fight either.

i would not let my fighter in the ring w/ sakio bika. the dude has a screw loose and needs a psych eval.

I heard in a interview with Garcia a couple weeks ago that Pavlik had phoned him and said he was ready to start training again in Oxnard, even though he does not have an opponent to train for.

I have heard rumors that win or lose Chavez next opponent might be Kelly. Pavlik will probably need a stay busy opponent until that fight happens.

All the opponents that were named would be good. I just hope he has retained his focus and work ethic. He needs to be in the gym on a regular basis in order to avoid falling off the wagon. I interviewed him for another website earlier this year and he is a really good dude. I am really rooting for him to win back a belt.

He's probably waiting for September 15th

  15. Chavez vs. Pavlik would be a great fight at 168. I hope we get that one. :deal
