I think they'll wait to fight Vitali in Sept or Oct.

According to Dan Raphael, they are apparently negotiating the Peter Klitschko fight, but not making much progress.. ( no big suprise, seeing as how King will make the most of his opportunty to get a piece of Vitali, and VItali won't allow that).......That is the lastest I've read on it.

Vitali is Peter's mandatory. Vitali should have gotten Maskaev next instead of Peter, but Don King own's Peter. Don King will do anything to keep Peter from fighting anyone this side of Christy Martin.

Boring fight, but Ruiz is a decent choice, he shut out McCline recently who nearly beat Peter. In fact, i wouldn't be surprise to see Ruiz hug his way to victory.

Wait, Peter should NOT fight Ruiz!

Since Vitali retired without having lost the belt in the ring the WBC gave him "emeritus champion" status in the event he should return. That grants him an immediate shot at whomever holds the belt at the time.

Vitali did have a chance to fight Maskaev, but he priced himself out and decided not to take the fight, which held up things even more, thats when Peter ended up fighting Toney again.

Peter will probably end up fighting Golota after Vitali backs out of another match for whatever reason, like he's been doing for the last 3+ years.
