Any news on Peter's opponent?

    i used to love vitali when he actually fought, but since he has not fought after danny williams (i think) after such a long layoff and the injuries through out his attempted comeback(s) if a halfway motivated peter comes in shape and ready he could win.

    The WBC should grant Peter a voluntary defense if Vitali won't be ready until September/October.

    Peter had to jump through hoops to get the belt and it cost him alot of time. You can't put a guy on the shelf like that especially when it's costing him money. He did everything the WBC asked of him. Beat Toney twice and then beat the incumbent Maskaev. If Vitali isn't gonna be ready until the fall than let Peter fight someone who is. King could make major money staging a title fight in Nigeria and Peter would get the chance to defend his title in front of his fellow countrymen.
