I wouldn't be surprised if Donaire is given a comeback fight off his surgery well before Rigondeaux sees the ring again.

If one of the previous rumors concerning his current contract situation with Top Rank, supposedly scheduled to expire in mid July of this year, is true then I'd imagine that Rigondeaux is just biding out his time just like Miguel Cotto did almost two years ago when his contract with Top Rank expired for good following his rematch victory over Antonio Margarito.
