He got injured in the last bout maybe hes just healing up. No point for him to continue at this point exept maybe they could do a Royce-Saku III.
Which could be the next time, I hate to see Saku fight anymore he is a legend and I loved watching him fight years ago. One of my all-time favs.
I remember rumors of a possible Sakuraba/Royce Gracie III match not too long ago. Wouldn't be surprised if that came to fruition.
Sakuraba is best off retiring, he was 1 of the greatest p4p fighters in the history of MMA & all these losses vs guys that couldnt lace his boots in his prime doesnt affect his legacy in my eyes because you cant ever take away what he did at his best but it must affect Sakuraba himself both physically & mentally. Imagine how frustrated Saku must feel when he sees basic mistakes that he used to punish without blinking or thinking in his prime & he just falls short, that must be some painfull ****. Retire Sakuraba..... these bums dont deserve your name on their record.
