Does anyone know who is replacing lennox on hbo? I havent heard anything lately, last I heard Roach was being considered. I hope thats not the case, I would love to see Tarver get that slot. Thanks in advance
yes, I read an interview with Bob Poppa that you can probably find through google. They are not even sure that someone will replace Lennox. For now, Bob says that in 2010 there will be no replacement.

I would advise that this is nothing more than a rumor, seeing as how I couldn't find any source to confirm. Regardless, it's good food for thought. A friend of mine told me that Mike Tyson will be auditioning on the next Boxing After Dark. When I searched for a source I could only find stories about how Tyson has admitted to being "totally broke." Could HBO be taking pity on him, and throw him a bone? I think this decision would make sense, Tyson could be good for them ratings wise. Who knows, maybe he could be a good commentator. Either way, it would be better than Lennox. "Paulie Magninaggi, Paulie Malig... Mali.. Mali...."
Paulie would probably make a good commentator you never know nowadays. Tarver is pretty good but he's with Showtime. RJJ comeback? I'd much rather see him talk about fights now than be in them.
I doubt Roach was ever seriously considered. If so, what are they thinking? His speech is deteriorating already because of Parksinson's, which is quite sad. Beyond that, he was never a lucid speaker. He's just not the right kind of guy for the job. He belongs in the gym, that's his job.
