    McCloske is terrible to watch, and I don't buy into all this 'He's past his best, his reflexes are gone' bull****, he's just never been that good.

    Sparking Dean Harrison and Lauri is one thing, Corely and Prescott showed even more then Khan did that Paul's style and ability just isn't what he and his followers believe.

    He's no Eammon Magee, who was fringe world class for a while..

    :deal He looked pretty good at British level, then the Lauri fight really showed how limited he was, he struggled and got a bit of a flukey KO.

    You're right he is no Eamonn Magee, not by a mile, but the McCloskey who beat Lynes/Nigel Wright (great inside fighting from McCloskey)/ Tonchev etc is not the same guy who fought Prescott and Corley, ffs he couldn't avoid some of the most telegraphed punches ive ever seen against those two

    it was indeed embarrassing watching him against Corley, because that just wasn't him and I don't think he'll ever be the same again, I have a good boxing head on my shoulders and i would admit if mccloskey just wasnt that good, he was never world class, but he was ****ing better than that guy who was in against Corley I can tell you that
