Any news on Wlad?

    I heard talk of a Povetkin fight but that seems to have died down...what's the latest? I think he's in his prime, probably at the end of it so he needs a few more wins to make use of it

    Tom Loeffler (K2 promoter) said it looks like Wlad will be fighting in April. Not clear against whom but looks like it will be Povetkin. Finally.

    Don't you guys get enough of this robot?? Go on youtube watch ANY of his fights and you've gotten the Klitschko experience. Why do you insist on replays of the goddamn bot. Move stiff, throw a stiff jab, move like a robot again, throw 3 programmed punches, back away in a robotic fashion, rinse and repeat ZzzzZzzzzzz:zzz:zzz

    It seems to be taking a ridiculously long time for progress to be made in the Klitschko-Povetkin negotiations.

    About a month ago, Povetkin's manager said there would be an announcement "within a week" but we still haven't heard much of anything.

    And hopefully Vitali will finally make up his mind whether he's retiring or not.

    I hope the fight finally happens.

    Not that it would be competitive, but then the division can move on again and I like to see Pov get his beating like the others before him.

    It is idiots like you who think every fight needs to be Gatti/Ward. This is a science and Wlad has mastered a defensive style that TRUE boxing fans can enjoy.

    Plus he KTFO almost everyone he faces after he breaks them down. Best HW champion since LL and Larry Holmes he is carrying on a tradition of dominating and will be ranked as an ATG.

    Too right. Despite the heart they showed it's frequently forgotten Gatti and Ward were **** boxers. True talent is seen as 'running' or 'cowardice' by brainless wankers. They should **** off to MMA land.
