Yeah, that's what I meant at the end of my post. He's a champion because of his ability to train 100% and come to the ring at his best regardless of the opponent.

I was just thinking that it must be more enjoyable to him to have the fights with greater media interest that capture the public imagination a bit more than say, having to fight Tony Thompson for a second time or hyping JMM as the French Tyson.

No we don't :nono Low blow combos are for cowards who can't win with skill. Probably why you don't like Wlad :yep

Thanks for the info. Didn't Shannon Briggs get 500 K for fighting Vitali?

Povetkin did not want to fight Wlad in the past (2 times).

Povetkin will try to duck Wlad again.

I dunno, Golota was beating Bowe until he unleashed the low blow combos to the nuts.

€500k ~ $800k, yes. That's the figure he mentioned in a Fightnews article.

I don't think Wlad gives a damn about his legacy. He seems genuinely bored in any interview I've seen him in when comparisons between him and other historical great fighters come up. He simply states that everybody has their opinions and quickly changes the subject. Wlad strikes me as a man who lives in the moment. History and legacy seem to bore him.

According to German paper Bild Wlad wants to do a voluntary defense on April 6th. WBA still needs to approve this.

Give a Rocky type loser a shot. Vitali did that already with Charr.
