    Briggs got 30k in the end and had to pay for the hospital.
    His manager got the rest.

    Did Briggs make 30k before or after the hospital bill? If before than he made even less than 30k.

    Why did the manager get the rest? Was it theft or legit? Why do boxers even have managers?

    Briggs ended up suing them. The court documents are public record, not sure what came out of it.
