I am from Germany. Chavez by KO. To big and to strong.

  3. if chavez can take martinez's punches well and keep the pressure up, martinez will begin to fade in the middle rounds, maybe in the 6th or 7th round. chavez wont be looking to box, he ll be coming forward all night long, working the body and the head whenever he can. if sergio doesnt win by knockout in the early rounds he wont win at all. chavez's defense has improved a great deal and if he keeps his hands up and doesnt get reckless, he ll win this with relative ease. martinez's power is overrated in my opinion and chavez has a very good chin. but who knows, anything can happen in boxing. i just think that chavez is too young for sergio and his chin isnt ready to be cracked just yet. he walked through rubio's best punches without blinking and rubio's hit hard. i dont see how sergio can win this...

in all honesty its a pickem fight , chavez is a physical beast , it will take a career performance for sergio to win

Rofl. Chavez aint walkin through Martinez punches. Martinez throws straighter, crisper and faster punches then Rubio.

Pavlik is Rubios daddy and Martinez handled him just fine. Chavez is gonna get cut bad in this fight

Unless Martinez wins by TKO or a clear 12-0 / 11-0 UD he will not get the decision against "El Junior"

  7. youre wrong, man. i'm typing from mexico. i pay taxes in mexico. i live in mexico. rooting against the mexican is bad luck for mexicans and mexican americans alike.
sergio isnt as good as he's made out to be. sure, he can crack, but since he ll be going backwards most of the time his punches wont have the same effect as they do when he's going forward. he's not that hard to hit either. he's no floyd mayweather. he gets hit a lot. a lot. i think chavez will win this. i could be wrong though.

  8. u know what i think happened in that fight? i think that rubio let the hype surrounding pavlik get to him. rubio's very good overall. his punches arent too wide or anything. he's a good boxer with good power. chavez walked right through that man's best punches. he walked right through them shits like it was nothing. thats pretty impressive, man. rubio is no joke. martinez hits maybe 10 percent harder than rubio. if chavez keeps his hands up, martinez's power shouldnt be a problem. one more thing, martinez's chin isnt the best in world. if chavez can hit him clean a few times, he might actually hurt him. that would change the dynamics of the fight. i cant wait for this fight.

Cuban here, rooting for Martinez but I give junior his share of respect based on his last performances and for having the guts to finally take the fight.A year ago I'll call this fight 90-10 for Martinez, my odds moved to 60-40 for Martinez .

I slightly favor Sergio to win, but would not be suprised if Jr pulls it off.

About a year ago, i would have been rooting for Sexy Sergio without a doubt, but seeing how much hate Jr gets in these boards (and the fact the he's slowly growing on me) i would love to see him him just to see the reactions here. :yep
