Cause from what i have been reading as far as predictions, pacman will be a big favorite.

and i intend to lay some cash on diaz.

think im crazy??? hey, just remember two factors here:

    1) pac man once held a flyweight belt.....................that is 6 weightclasses south of lightweight. (and please keep in mind that diaz only loss came at 140!!!!)

2)just have a short look at boxing history. nuff said.

    so anyone know the odds????

Don't think you're crazy at all. Haven't seen odds posted yet, but my guess is Manny opens at -300, which PacD will immediately drive up to -400 or better. Diaz has the style, size, and chin to give Manny a rough night. Definitely worth a shot if you get around +375 to +400 odds.

im really hoping that pacmans nuthuggers will drive up the odds. plus 400 would be nice.

such fights are great to beT on when they feature a fighter with bandwagon full of nuthuggers.

kinda like hatton vs mayweather. the idiots supporting hatton (actually betting on him) drove down the odds so mayweather only started slightly better than a 2-1 on favorite.........on a fight in which mayweather was closer to being a ten to one on favorite than a 2-1:lol:

    i just love such fights!!!

Dont waste your money on it. Pac will destroy this guy. Erik Morales gave him the fight of his life and knocked him down, Pac destroyed Morales in 3. Diaz is not a bad fighter but for once in a very long time, Pac will have the styles advantage in this fight and it will show. Pac via KO inside 7 rounds.

Come on Pac by stoppage in the mid rounds.

    qft.

But Diaz did show in that fight a weakish chin, porous defence, sloppy technique, average power, and average handspeed.

He also showed good body strength, great stamina, lots of confidence, and alot of heart

When you look at it like that it's clear you shouldn't bet on Diaz. I actually had Morales beating him by a few points.

oh? Tell me why? If Hector Velasquez (a guy Pac beat up on) drew or beat Juan Diaz, would you not conclude the same thing?

Not 100% sure, but I read in another thread that it's 2-1.

Certainly not enough to put money down on Diaz, if that's the case.

Best price on UK bookmakers is 11/4 Diaz. However totesport originally had the fight odds well out of sync. Originally had it 1/2 6/4 and had Pacman at 11/4 KO. Also had under 10.5 rounds at 9/4 even though a couple of US bookmakers had 5/6 under 9.5. Was some good bets to be had on Pacman there.

pac is on the slide but he will be too quick for diaz. erik morales was more shot that john lennon but still did enough to beat diaz

he was just a teenage kid when he won the belt. And he was 5'4 back then. Just as everyone else was 7-9 lbs when they are babies and just as everyone else who are heavyweights use to weigh as flyweights in some point of time earlier
